Solo Musician and Songwriter

Hemi Walker is a Singer/songwriter based in the Wairarapa. He has been on his musical journey for the last 4 years. He plays his own shows all around the Wairarapa performing original music and has played at local festivals such as Gladstonebury Waifest and Tora Tora Tora. He also teaches Instruments throughout local primaries. He is very excited to judge this year’s Semifinals and finals!!!

Entertainment Industry Professional

With a background in Music Business Management (Australia), Cimone then moved to England with no plan whatsoever. As fate would have it she embarked upon a career in the entertainment industry and spent nine years working alongside prominent UK Director and Choreographer, Arlene Phillips CBE. Working with the brightest and best from Television, Film, Pop Music Videos and West End/Broadway productions Cimone worked on shows across the globe including We Will Rock You, The Sound of Music, Starlight Express, Saturday Night Fever and Grease as well as involvement in TV shows Strictly Come Dancing, DanceX, Royal Variety Show, Britannia High and theatre events including Midsummer Classics at the Royal Albert Hall, Black Goes with Everything, Bratz Arena Tour and many more.

Ryan Coles

Ryan Coles

Musician and Songwriter, Dead Zephyrs

Ryan Coles is a Masterton-based musician who has been playing live all over New Zealand for the last 10 years. Cutting his teeth on solo acoustic shows throughout the Wairarapa, Ryan started a band called The Dead Zephyrs with some good friends and proceeded to rock the north island with a slew of shows ranging from NZ Battle of the Bands (of which they became National Finalists) in Auckland, to opening for international acts such as Richie Ramone (Formerly of The Ramones) in Wellington. With music at the forefront of Ryans mind, he shows no signs of stopping!
